Caroline's friend, Cara, needed a girl friend to go with her on a ski trip to Winter Park with her new crush, Tyler, back in December 2023, and Caroline gladly supported her on this excursion! The girls were nervous and excited to go spend the weekend in the mountains with people they’ve never met..?! Caroline assured Cara it would be fine because “it's not like we're going to meet our future husbands!” Thankfully she was wrong! After a fun weekend of card games, skiing, hot tub dips, and inside jokes, Caroline and CJ were inseparable! He asked her to dinner the following Tuesday and took her to their now favorite restaurant, Adelitas, to get the infamous molcajete that they eat almost every week now.CJ already invited Caroline to meet his brothers and their wives on their third date so she knew he was serious! He even took her to Las Vegas with his family before asking her to be his girlfriend, which forced the relationship conversation soon after!Caroline and CJ loved getting to know each other’s families and knew it would be a perfect fit. They continue to love spending time with their families and friends, skiing &amp; snowboarding, finding new restaurants, playing golf &amp; tennis, cooking dinner, fishing, and traveling! They’ve been to Texas, California, Hawaii, Wyoming, Utah, South Carolina, Mexico, Japan, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece, and all over Colorado, and can’t wait for a lifetime of more traveling together!Caroline even switched hospitals to CJs construction job site to broaden her surgical nursing skills (really so that she can see him at lunch). Caroline and CJ knew early on that they were each other’s best friends and couldn’t wait to spend their life together.On their once in a lifetime European trip, CJ dropped to one knee and asked Caroline to marry him on the mountain overlooking Dubrovnik, Croatia! They spent the rest of their trip celebrating their engagement, and are so excited for everything to come this year. They are eagerly looking forward to getting married on May 22nd, 2027, and spending the rest of their lives side by side!
